Dear friends and colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to join us on September 3-4, 2025, in the beautiful city of Cluj-
Napoca for the First Conference of the Human Functional Genomics Romania initiative!
The conference will bring together international experts to discuss cutting-edge aspects of the
interaction between the host, environment and the immune system that determine immune
homeostasis and the susceptibility to disease. At the same time, the conference will also
introduce Human Functional Genomics Romania, a network of Romanian and international
researchers that focus their research on the identification of factors that modulate immune
responses in populations from South-Eastern Europe. Human Functional Genomics Romania is
also affiliated and works in close collaboration with the researchers of the Human Functional
Genomics Project.
